HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer, Installation Technician, Building Maintenance
What You'll Do
- Lead HVAC Field Operations: oversee HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects across multiple job sites.
- Coordinate work involving ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, AC systems, and controls.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company quality standards.
- Supervise & Support Teams: manage HVAC technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors; conduct daily team meetings and assign work based on priorities and technician skill levels.
- Train and mentor employees on company procedures, safety practices, and technical skills.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; conduct inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
- Communicate & coordinate work with project managers, clients, subcontractors, inspectors; resolve technical and scheduling issues in a professional manner.
- Track labor hours, materials, and project progress while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

4–6 years of HVAC installation/service experience; at least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- HVAC technical training or certification preferred.
- Residential or multi‑family construction experience is a plus.
State HVAC license where applicable.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to successfully pass a background screening.
Skills- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with mobile workforce apps and basic Microsoft Office tools.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed at active construction job sites; may involve varying weather conditions, noise, and dust. Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working from ladders or scaffolding. Travel between job sites may be required.
