We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance to join our team.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely, professional manner
- Perform preventive maintenance and general apartment repairs
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in readiness (
make-readies / apartment turns
) - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing systems
- Electrical issues
- Appliances
- Carpentry and drywall repairs
- Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas
- Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
- Maintain maintenance inventory, tools, and supplies
Follow all OSHA safety standards and Fair Housing regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous maintenance experience required (
multifamily/apartment maintenance strongly preferred
) - HVAC experience required
- HVAC Certification strongly preferred
- EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Must have basic maintenance tools and reliable transportation
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
