We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance to join our team.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

  • Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely, professional manner
  • Perform preventive maintenance and general apartment repairs
  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in readiness (
    make-readies / apartment turns
    )
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair:
    • HVAC systems
    • Plumbing systems
    • Electrical issues
    • Appliances
    • Carpentry and drywall repairs
  • Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas
  • Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
  • Maintain maintenance inventory, tools, and supplies

    Follow all OSHA safety standards and Fair Housing regulations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous maintenance experience required (
    multifamily/apartment maintenance strongly preferred
    )
  • HVAC experience required
  • HVAC Certification strongly preferred
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Must have basic maintenance tools and reliable transportation
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
