Family Support Specialist Manager
The Family Support Specialist Manager directs family support services, referrals, and community service coordination to foster economic self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life for residents, leading a team to ensure family stability and success.

- Lead family support meetings, analyze data, and coordinate strategies to meet performance measures.
- Conduct intake, assessments, and home visits, assisting residents with development plans and service navigation.
- Maintain confidentiality and track resident data in LEARN.
- Attend community meetings and participate in program-related meetings.
- Providing resources and knowledge for clients to access capital, including loans for financial goals like housing and consumer products, to build credit, reduce debt, and support wealth growth through entrepreneurship.
- Offering consultation services in financial management and goal-setting.
- Hosting in-person and virtual seminars for clients seeking financial literacy management resources and capital access.
- Supporting and promoting the development of the Urban Strategies, Inc. CDFI client base.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or relevant field, or equivalent education/experience. - 5 years of nonprofit or human services experience providing assessments, referrals, and follow-up.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Commitment to family-focused service planning and program philosophies.
- Ability to handle privileged information confidentially and culturally sensitive.
- Availability to work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and design programs based on resident-driven and data-driven rationale.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and load/unload materials as needed.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and other software.
