Software Engineer (GMD Automated Test & Verification) – Full-Time with an Employee Owned and Best Places to Work Contractor. Onsite in Huntsville, AL |

Software Engineer supporting MDA's GMD Weapons System (GWS) program on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team.

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation software products aligned with GWS program goals
• Contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements, development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate in an Agile team setting using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Fisheye/Crucible
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices in coordination with cross-functional teams

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Active Secret Clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Software Engineering or Computer Science preferred)
• Professional development experience using Python
• Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle – software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
• Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket

• Background in software development for test automation
• Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
• Experience with Scrum leadership roles (Scrum Master or Product Owner)
• Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
