Software Engineer
Develop applications based on our requirements, using approved technologies and coding standards. Build software components and systems to follow and satisfy engineering, scientific, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements. Be a senior level in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new and legacy applications. Apply secure coding practices to prevent security vulnerabilities in code and apply object-oriented principles when implementing solutions. Maintain code quality through unit testing and solid documentation.
Communicate with partners to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications. Maintain knowledge of application security best practices and modern vulnerabilities.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- C/C++ programming experience;
Fortran experience helpful - Experience writing specifications, design documents, test procedures, users guides and test reports.
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners.
- Experience in Modbus/OPC/TCPIP protocols
- Familiarity with Cisco switch configuration
- Experience with Windows socket programming.
- Experience with Wireshark troubleshooting.
