The C2
BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a software engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2
BMC applications. Common responsibilities of a software engineer on the RA ART team include:

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience. Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position. Demonstrated experience in full life cycle software development of Java-based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment. Demonstrated experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.
Demonstrated experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.). Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams. COMPTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required within 60 days of starting.

Experience in design and development of Java applications.
Experience in developing new capabilities into a legacy SW system.
Experience in SW analysis against performance requirements.
Experience in development of complex mathematical algorithms from whitepapers or algorithm design documentation.
Experience resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/Sonar Qube/etc.
Experience using Eclipse to develop software applications.
Experience using Maven or Gradle.
Experience using automated unit testing frameworks.
Experience with performance modeling.
Experience developing microservices.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
