Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience.

Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position.

Demonstrated experience in full life cycle software development of Java-based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment.

Demonstrated experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.

Demonstrated experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.).

Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams.

COMPTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required within 60 days of starting.

Protecting both the United States and its allies, this large, fast paced team is composed of many small agile teams working together in a dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading‑edge missile defense technologies.

The Work

BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a software engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2

BMC applications. Common responsibilities of a software engineer on the RA ART team include:

  • Design and develop new Java applications;
    Maintain existing Java applications
  • Support software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselines
  • Generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
