Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position.
Experience in full life cycle software development of Java-based applications in a Unix/Linux platform environment.
Experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.
Experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g., Git/Gitlab/etc.).
Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams.
Security+ or equivalent certification may be required within 60 days of starting.

BMC‑Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a Software Engineer that will thrive in a fast‑paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2
BMC applications. Common responsibilities of a software engineer on the RA ART team include:
- Design and develop new Java applications; maintain existing Java applications
- Support software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselines
- Generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews
