NTA, Inc. seeks a Software (SW) Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. The role involves development, integration, and maintenance of software supporting guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems for U.S. Army systems, supporting the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) in aviation and missile system research and development.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 3+ years of experience

• High level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with organizational, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with C and/or C++
• Experience with Python
• Experience with source code version control tools and issue tracking systems
• Working knowledge of object-oriented software design principles (e.g., SOLID)
• Independent and self-motivated, problem solver, strategic thinker
• Detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities

• Experience with other programming languages, including Fortran and Ada
• Experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) design and development
• Experience with real-time systems and software
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems

• Current security clearance or ability to obtain through a government investigation.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
