Performance Assessment Engineer - Secret Clearance

What We’re Doing

Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2

BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, operates in smaller agile teams in a fast-paced environment. We engineer, develop, and integrate new capabilities for the Missile Defense System, working on MBSE, sensor/weapon integration, algorithm development, user interface development, automated testing, cyber security and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

• Software development of ad-hoc post-processing analysis tools and plots to assess and analyze C2
  
  BMC performance (preferred in Java, Python or MATLAB).
• Track C2
  
  BMC development updates and perform analysis to detect regressions after code changes.
• Collaborate across teams to perform deep-dive analysis of C2
  
  BMC performance using established Technical Performance Metrics, Special Interest Items and other metrics to determine efficacy related to timing, track quality and other parameters over large datasets.
• Act as the technical liaison between analysts and developers; translate analysis findings into concrete, actionable development tasks.
• Create analysis documents and briefs, including detailed presentations used by internal and external leadership to assess C2
  
  BMC performance.

• U.S. citizenship and active Final Secret clearance required.
• Experience producing tooling and products to assist the analysis or assessment of a system or project.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Java, C++, Python, database management, networking or data communications.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Dev Ops tooling (Jenkins, HTCondor, Git Lab, etc.) desirable.
• Familiarity with applying statistical distributions in hypothesis testing, model validation, inferential statistics, confidence-interval estimates, and goodness-of-fit tests preferred.
• Experience with performing systems engineering for DoD Information Systems desirable.
• Experience creating and briefing chart packages for tooling or analysis performed.

Requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
