• Participate in collaborative, cross‑discipline integrated product teams, employing agile software development techniques to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
• Assist in requirements, design, development, and testing of real‑time embedded software, application software, and tools, including development of new work products or enhancement of existing products and systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in modern languages, AI, Dev Sec Ops , and other methodologies and technologies relevant to complex systems.
• Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement, and test integrated systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in software development, integration, and/or testing using C++, Java, Ada or a similar object‑oriented language.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued interim Secret security clearance prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship.

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience developing complex systems and applications using object‑oriented programming.
• Experience with Agile lifecycle methodologies (Scrum, continuous integration, test‑driven development).
• Self‑motivated problem solver with initiative to resolve technical or process gaps.
• Familiarity with leading small teams (estimating effort, decomposing tasks, tracking progress).
• Experience with multi‑threading, memory management, and performance optimization in complex environments.
• Shell scripting (tcsh, csh, bash), use of Git/Clearcase, and software debugging tools.
• Embedded real‑time or large‑scale application experience.
• Experience in Agile environments such as Scrum @ Scale, SAFe, Dev Sec Ops .
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, dynamic settings with time‑critical requirements.
• Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux operating systems.
• Exposure to open systems architectures and modular design principles.
