OpportunityThe Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) IRAD team is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Leader to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time Software Engineering Manager. In this role you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
Qualifications- Ability to work collaboratively in multi‑disciplinary teams
- Experience working embedded software development
- Experience leading software development teams and projects
- Experience with staffing and talent development
- Working knowledge of C++.
- Understanding of the full software life‑cycle (design, development, integration, test, qualification).
- Experience with Agile SW development environments.
- Ability to translate technical details into clear documentation.
Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Other RequirementsWork associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
CompensationAnnual base salary range (California, Massachusetts, New York excluding most major metropolitan areas, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC): $113,900 – $200,905.
