Position: Data Architect

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

Clearance Level: Secret

Pay Rate Range: $180,000 - $210,000

• Develop short‑term (next 2 years) and long‑term (5–7 years) data strategy aligned with mission goals.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate technical solutions and ensure data accessibility.
• Implement and audit security measures to protect data integrity and ensure compliance.
• Plan and execute large‑scale data solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end data lifecycle from platform selection to testing and implementation.

• 10+ years of general full‑time work experience (may be reduced with advanced education).
• 5+ years of directly related experience.
• 1+ year of management or leadership experience.
• Proficient in SQL development, database administration, and both RDBMS (e.g., Postgre
  
  SQL, Oracle) and No
  
  SQL (e.g., Mongo
  
  DB, Cassandra).
• Mastery of visualization tools such as Power
  
  BI or Tableau.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, C/C++, or Perl.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with MBSE and incorporating AI into legacy systems.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
• Cloud‑specific certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Data Engineer.
• Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) Data Engineer.
• Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional.
