9x80 Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $160,000 Test Engineer will support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture & Delivery (A&D) Automated Test & Verification (ATV) Team. This role develops and supports test automation software products that enable execution of the GWS contract on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy software products that support automated test and verification efforts
* Contribute to software development activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
* Partner with product teams to develop technical solutions that support program objectives
* Support Agile development activities and participate in team execution using collaboration and configuration management tools
* Develop and conduct testing in HWIL environment
* Automate current manual test procedures

Qualifications:

* U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
* Active Secret Clearance required
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related STEM field from an accredited institution
* Professional experience in one or more phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment

* Professional software development experience using Eggplant, Python, Bash or similar programming languages

* Experience working in Agile development environments

* Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teams

* Experience with test automation software development

* Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch

* Experience serving in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
