Position Summary: Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
Preferred qualifications:
experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
- Standard teaming:
Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams - Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
- Active/Final Secret Clearance
- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (Green Hill or VxWorks)
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements
Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold a Final Secret clearance and be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Location: Onsite Full-time at a Lockheed Martin facility requiring special access.
Schedule: 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position is $134,000 - $236,325 in non-major metropolitan areas, and $154,100 - $267,145 in major metropolitan areas within California, Massachusetts, and New York. Salary may vary based on location. This position is incentive plan eligible.
