Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.

The Work The selected engineer will support a fast-pace, forward looking Software Development environment on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) product team's Automated Test and Verification team, with tasking directed at Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD). Basic Qualifications:

• Must have an Active Final Secret clearance
• A minimum of 5 Years with Bachelor's in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with a Ph.D.
• Professional experience development using Eggplant, Python, Bash or similar languages
• Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with multiple product teams
• Experience in software development related to Test Automation
• Must be able to work in office, on site Desired

Skills:

• Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
• Individual must possess good communication skills
• Capable of working both independently and within team environments
• Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
• Experience as a team lead
• Experience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Current Security+ certification Security Clearance Statement:
