Senior Full Stack Developer - Active TS is a MUST (ONSITE - 100%)

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking qualified candidates to work on our efforts with a Prime for their end customer, a federal agency in Huntsville, AL.

Position: Senior Full Stack (Java Stack) Developer – MUST have an active Top Secret clearance – work fully ONSITE.

Location: project with a Prime for a classified federal agency, Huntsville, AL.

# of positions: 2.

Compensation: based on qualifications, experience, and certifications with standard benefits.

• Develop and maintain Java software applications in the cloud (AWS preferred) using Agile software development techniques.
• Support software application migration from an on-premise data center to a cloud environment.
• Consult with business process owners, customers, users and constituents to develop and analyze customer requirements.
• Collaborate with project team members to ensure technically sound projects that are completed on time and on budget.
• Lead and mentor junior team members in performing project tasks.
• Perform application testing.
• Create and maintain application documentation.
• Overall 12+ years of experience with a BS degree.

• Agile development experience.
• Application Server experience with Agile development.
• Cloud development experience.
• Full Stack Developer with Java/JEE and Angular experience is a MUST.
• Java Development JDK 1.7/1.8 (or higher); J2EE technologies.
• REST API, SOAP.
• Relational SQL.
• JBoss middleware.
• Apache Web Server.
• HTML, CSS & Web services.
• JavaScript frameworks Node/Angular/Express.
• Red Hat Linux.
• Desired AWS technologies (API Gateway, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience establishing goals and meeting project plan objectives.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer interface experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills, including team leadership experience.

Active Top Secret clearances are REQUIRED.

We offer 3 weeks of paid time off (includes sick leave); unused PTO will be issued as a check at the end of an employee's anniversary. Two floating and eight public holidays, which expire at the end of each year of service. Company covers 50% of health and dental insurance for full‑time employees (second tier coverage for dependents at extra cost) after 30 days.
