Senior ASP.NET Developer (Huntsville, AL)

This role is a member of the programming team responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining ASP.NET C# websites. The successful candidate will work with a Technical Lead to create new data‑driven websites, maintain existing sites, log and fix bugs reported via application notifications, and ensure high‑quality code in an agile environment.
Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required. Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
Required Skills- Design, write, test, and document software
- Operate in a development process with peer reviews, source code management, documentation, testing, and defined procedures
- Work independently on tasks, utilizing experience and creativity to complete them successfully
- Act as a technical expert in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or complex enhancements to existing software
- Collaborate with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for modifications or enhancements
- Participate in development of software user manuals
- Assist in training less experienced staff and may act as a team leader on less complex projects
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and NHibernate
- Experience with .NET Web services (ASP.NET Web Services, WCF)
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, XML
- Experience with Telerik UI Controls and relational databases (SQL Server)
- Understanding of and experience with agile development methods
- US Citizen eligible for Secret Clearance
