Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role

HEKA is hiring Software Engineers to join our fast‑paced, highly collaborative engineering teams working on advanced aerospace, defense, and embedded systems. • Design, develop, and maintain embedded and systems‑level software
• Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers in a tightly integrated development environment
• Contribute to avionics, control, and mission‑critical software stacks
• Support rapid development cycles, prototyping, testing, and iteration
• Take ownership of technical decisions and deliverables

• Software development experience with C/C++, C#, Python
• Understanding of engineering process

• Embedded C/C++, RTOS, low‑level systems
• Ability to architect software systems
• Strong software fundamentals and engineering discipline

• Avionics or aerospace systems experience
• Control systems, guidance, or GNC exposure
• Desktop software development

• This role is on‑site only and not remote
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
