Software Engineer – MASC-F
What We’re Doing: Lockheed Martin is developing innovative solutions for the U.S. Missile Defense System. The Modeling and Simulation Contract for Framework and Tools (MASC-F) team works to sustain the simulation framework supporting the MDA’s test needs.
The Work: We are seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to develop and integrate software capabilities for product implementation in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop object‑oriented software using Java, C++ or similar languages.
- Deploy and maintain containerized services (Docker or similar).
- Work in a UNIX/Linux platform environment.
- Use configuration management tools (Git, Git Lab, etc.) to version control code.
- Collaborate across multiple organizations to deliver quality solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Interim Secret Clearance or higher.
- Proficiency with Java, C++ or similar language.
- Experience with Docker or similar containerization tools.
- Experience in a UNIX/Linux platform environment.
- Experience utilizing configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Git Lab).
Desired
Skills:
- Team‑oriented mindset.
- Experience with web‑based development.
- UI/UX experience.
- Experience with OSF.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret.
Relocation: Possible.
Location: Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule: 4×10‑hour days, 3 days off per week.
Shift: First.
Experience Level: Experienced Professional.
Business Unit: RMS.
