This position is for a Software Manager supporting the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and in team environments, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives.

• Technical background in Software Engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives.
• Experience with planning and coordinating software development activities in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledgeable in formal Software Engineering Process and Tools, including experience in executing in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in leading technical meetings and independent software code reviews for software development efforts.
• Experience presenting to program leadership and to the customer in formal reviews and meetings.
• Willingness to learn cost account management principles, techniques, and processes.
• Final Secret Clearance is required prior to start; US citizenship is required.

• Experience in Planning – Staff, SW Dev tools, and maintaining Software Development Plans (SDP).
• Experience supporting technical performance of the project through control activities including reviews, metric data collection, identifying corrective actions and ensuring implementation.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour week over five days, while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
