Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, Missile Defense Integration Business Unit (BU), has an exciting career opportunity for a Software Engineer/Principal SW Engineer to join our team located in Huntsville, AL

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's STEM Degree and 0 years of related experience.
• Experience developing real time embedded software in C++.
• Experience with HW/SW integration.
• Experience developing software in a RHEL environment.
• Familiarity with Atlassian and Agile software development practices.
• Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs.
• Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's STEM Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD.
• Experience developing real time embedded software in C++.
• Experience with HW/SW integration.

• Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs.

• Missile Defense domain knowledge.
• Experience using Lab View.
• Security + Certification.

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $

Secondary Level Salary Range: $ - $

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
