Penta Research is seeking candidates to work full-time onsite on the flight software development team.

The candidate will perform:

• Model-Based Flight Software Development:
  Collaborate closely with the development team to create robust flight software using MATLAB Simulink, leveraging model-based design principles.
• Automate Code Generation & Optimization:
  Drive Simulink development and automate the generation of efficient and performative code and algorithms via Embedded Coder.
• Rigorous Code Review & Presentation:
  Conduct and participate in thorough code reviews, presenting findings and recommendations to the team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree:
  Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Proficient with: MATLAB, Simulink
• Dev Ops:
  Knowledge of Gitlab, configuration management and Dev Ops practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree:
  Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Experience with:
  Simulink Coder, Embedded Coder, Simulink Test, Real-time operating systems, Embedded software, C++, Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), Processor-in-the-loop (PIL), etc.
• Testing/developing flight software, CI/CD pipelines
