BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. protecting both the United States and its allies. This large, fast paced team, is composed of many small agile teams working together dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies. The Work The C2

BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a Software Engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2

BMC applications. Under minimal direction, provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas. Common responsibilities of a software engineer on the RA ART team include:

• Design and develop discrimination/fusion algorithms within the C2
  
  BMC Track Server application
• Analyze, test, and verify existing algorithm design and performance
• Support software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselines
• Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution
• Works from system specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications
• Assist with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of algorithms and software
• Interface with other system support groups
• Generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews
• Develop technical documentation (white paper/ADD) and present design to external stakeholders

Experience in the following:

• Data Fusion, ML Classification, Sensor Discrimination, Signal Processing, Kalman Filtering
• Agile Development Experience
• Missile Defense Domain experience
• Design and development of real-time Java applications.
• Developing new capabilities into a legacy software system.
• Development of complex mathematical algorithms and design documents.
• Metrics and visualization development to support analysis and performance verification
• SW analysis against performance requirements.
• Resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/Sonar Qube/etc.
• Maven or Gradle.
• Automated unit testing frameworks.
