U.S. Intern - Platform Engineer
Location:
Huntsville, AL / Hybrid Job Purpose
As an Intern, your primary purpose is to support the development team in various software development and operations activities. You will assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications, gaining hands-on experience to gradually take on more responsibilities. Your role is an opportunity to learn and apply best practices in software development, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications
Collaborate with team members on projects and tasks
Learn and apply best practices in software development and operations
Support the team in troubleshooting and debugging software issues
Contribute to documentation and software maintenance tasks
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java script, Typescript, Java, C#, Python, or Go)
Familiarity with ALM practices and tools (basic understanding of Git and CI/CD concepts)
Interest in cloud computing and willingness to learn GCP offerings
Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies
