Iron Mountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UVC Trainer
, with experience in uncrewed vehicle command and control software, to provide uncrewed aircraft systems training support services. In support of the customer at Redstone Arsenal, you will assist with the development of instruction material for uncrewed vehicles and uncrewed vehicle control software, supporting the developing and fielding of hardware systems across the Army.
- Learn the Uncrewed Vehicle Control (UVC) software and coordinate with uncrewed vehicle platform offices on hardware training requirements.
- Develop and assist in the development of Programs of Instruction for UAS systems.
- Participate in “fieldings” and “issuances” of hardware platforms for troubleshooting of UVC software.
- Provide assistance with development of acquisition documentation to fulfill materiel fielding and new equipment training requirements in support of US Army uncrewed vehicle control software.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
- Travel expected up to 50%.
- Bachelor’s of Science or Bachelor’s of Business Degree, Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience.
- Proven experience with technical fundamentals of uncrewed vehicles and uncrewed vehicle control in existing Army programs.
- Preferred to have proven experience, exposure, and understanding with technical and operational fundamentals in Army Aviation programs.
- Experience working within the Army Aviation acquisition process.
- Expert-level understanding of UAS technologies and vehicle command and control processes.
- Experience working with Army Aviation capability developers.
- Experience developing training materials and courses with regard to UAS systems.
- Familiarity and knowledge related to Army materiel release process.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to brief programmatically, strategically, and technically to senior leadership.
- Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums.
