Job Description:

• The selected Software Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team.
• This role is responsible for developing data analysis products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
• The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years related engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience with Python
  (Python for both SWE & Data Analysis - weapon system performance analysis, writing python scripts for automating workflow, Pandas/Num Py computing)
• Ability to perform software root cause analysis
• Experience with Bitbucket
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages

Desired Skills:

• Requirements decomposition and testing experience
• Experience with Test Objectives in Missile defense.
• Individual must possess good communication skills.
• Candidate must demonstrate ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions.
• Willingness to assume a technical leadership role if required.
• Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
•
