Space System Software Engineer, Lead

This role is more than just coding. As a lead full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll lead a team as they learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help develop sof tware-enabled products and help overcome our most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience leading space system or missile defense systems sof tware development teams in production
• Experience with weapon system requirements, design, and performance analysis for features such as e nga geability, interceptability, and lethality
• Experience with Dev Ops principles, including automated CI / CD pipelines, configuration management, infrastructure automation, and cloud monitoring technologies
• Experience with systems architecture, requirements management, and technical baseline management
• Experience providing technical leadership for a sof tware development team and mentoring and supervising employees within a collaborative team environment to help them grow
• Experience with reviews of complex systems in accordance with the System Engineering Technical Review ( SETR ) process
• Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language ( SysML ) , DoD Architecture Framework ( DoDAF ) , and Unified Architecture Framework ( UAF )
• Ability to effectively communicate, work independently and collaboratively on a cross-functional team, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with strategic and operational-level missile defense planning, employment, and concepts of operations
• Experience implementing CI / CD pipelines such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Jenkins
• Experience with embedded programming and scripting languages such as Rus t, C, C++, Python, Java, or Java Script
• Experience developing sof tware within an Agile framework and Dev Sec Ops  infrastructure as part of a CI / CD pipeline
• Experience designing the architecture and containerized services with Kubernetes
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree
