Key Responsibilities- Support the development of web-based applications and online customer service platforms to modernize government service delivery.
- Lead the development of site concepts, ensuring a clear vision for the user's digital journey.
- Design and architect user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally robust.
- Define the information architecture of websites to ensure intuitive navigation and data flow.
- Implement high-fidelity interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend applications.
- Translate complex mission requirements into responsive design elements and site architectures.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Code and refine application components to ensure design integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of database management systems including Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with legacy web technologies such as Active Server Pages (ASP) or Visual Basic.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data-driven application interfaces.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools like Jira and Git Lab.
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards for government websites.
