In this role you will develop, apply, and maintain the standards, methods, and procedures that govern software quality across the program. You will conduct software inspection, testing, verification, and validation; implement software development and maintenance processes; and confirm that quality measures meet acceptable reliability standards. You will establish operating criteria that keep the software quality program aligned with project, process, and contract requirements, keep project and process control documentation compliant, and review software designs, change specifications, and plans (including applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies) against those requirements.

Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.
- Conduct software inspection, testing, verification, and validation, and confirm that quality measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
- Review software designs, change specifications, and plans against contract and process requirements, including applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Perform and direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
- Verify hardware against applicable Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and verify connections against applicable Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Verify remove-and-replace activity for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) that affects the system's configuration.
- Verify operating infrastructure versions, network configuration, hardware, mission application software, system name and location, and hard-drive document control numbers.
- Support hardware integration activities and events, assist Configuration Management with configuration status accounting for the labs, and support internal process compliance audits.
Basic Qualifications
- Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 2-15 years' experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Software verification and validation experience on integrated hardware/software systems
- Familiarity with TDPs and ICDs
- Configuration management or process-audit experience.
