Aurex is seeking an experienced Senior Service Now Developer to design, develop, and implement complex technical solutions across the Service Now platform. This position will serve as a primary technical subject matter expert, translating business and functional requirements into scalable, efficient, and secure workflows, applications, and integrations. The Senior Service Now Developer will play a key role in maintaining the overall health and architectural integrity of the platform while establishing development best practices, managing advanced integrations, and mentoring junior developers and administrators.

This role will work within an Agile environment and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality Service Now solutions.

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Service Now applications and modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
• Develop advanced Service Now solutions using JavaScript, Glide Record, Glide System, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
• Develop and enhance Service Portals using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
• Translate business concepts and functional requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement performance optimizations. System Integration and Architecture
• Architect and implement secure integrations between Service Now and external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and Integration Hub.
• Maintain data integrity and appropriate data mapping across integrations while optimizing system performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve platform scalability and maintainability.
• Assist in defining and maintaining the long-term technical and architectural roadmap for the Service Now platform. Code Quality and Mentorship
• Conduct code reviews for peer and junior developers to ensure adherence to Service Now development best practices, security requirements, and internal standards.
• Establish and reinforce coding standards and development best practices across the platform.
• Mentor junior developers and administrators, promoting continuous technical development and high-quality delivery.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex Service Now development and integration challenges. Change Governance and Deployment
• Participate in the Configuration Control Board (CCB) as a technical Subject Matter Expert to assess the feasibility, risk, and technical impact of proposed changes.
• Manage complex deployments using Update Sets, CI/CD pipelines, and the Service Now Application Repository.
• Support controlled promotion of changes from development and test environments through Production.
