• Monitor pool and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers and visitors
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed
• Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and pool area to identify and address potential hazards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and related facilities
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and ensuring a welcoming environment

• Valid lifeguard certification (such as Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
• Responsible, attentive, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
