Employment Application for Warehouse Associate

Giga Parts is actively seeking talent to fill our Warehouse Associate role! The ideal candidate has a can‑do attitude, enjoys working in a team setting where there is consistent communication and collaboration; as well as having leadership qualities and experience!

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensuring safety, cleanliness, organization, and secure operation of the warehouse;
  • Meeting productivity targets
  • Continuously improve efficiency, productivity, accuracy and output;
  • Support the team in any and all functions of warehouse tasks/duties as needed
  • Pick items from inventory quickly and efficiently
  • Pack items into boxes neatly, quickly and accurately
  • Ship boxes quickly and accurately
  • Receive items and put them away quickly, neatly and accurately
  • Take the initiative to do what needs to be done without being told. Get results without being micromanaged.
  • Contribute to the success of the company by adapting to changes, continually striving for personal growth, maintaining an environment of professionalism and teamwork, and allowing the company to profit from your talents, knowledge, and experience, and doing whatever is asked of you with a positive attitude
  • Deliver class‑leading customer service to our customers, with an eye toward cost, through ingenuity, thoughtfulness, and respect
  • Continually learning about all aspects of the computer industry and amateur radio hobby and their related products and services
  • Learn how our company works and suggest ways to improve it

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long period of time.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds to waist level with assistance.
  • Must have ability to kneel, crawl and crouch on surfaces and in tight spaces.
  • Must have ability to climb ladders of various heights.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1+ year warehouse experience
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work without constant supervision.
  • Be of good moral character.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and to discern importance of priorities.
  • Must have ability to work various hours according to company demands.

Job Type: Full‑time position, Monday through Friday, with the ability to work weekends on an as‑needed basis (higher needs during the holiday season)
