Performs complex administrative support work. Work involves disseminating information; maintaining filing systems; and providing guidance to others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- A. Participates in the planning and execution of agency programs; assists in the development of administrative and technical assistance policies and procedures; and responds to inquiries regarding rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- B. Prepares, edits, and distributes correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents; organizes the processing of inmate-related documents; performs complex typing and word processing; and maintains filing, record keeping, and records management systems.
- C. Prepares and disseminates information concerning agency programs and procedures; provides liaison with program staff, other departments, organizations, and local, state, and federal law enforcement and corrections agencies; and develops and provides training and technical assistance in the program area.
- D. Provides assistance answering and routing phone calls, taking messages, and greeting and directing visitors to the appropriate staff.

- A.
