Hiring Rate: Starting pay rate: $9.00 per hour
Nature & Purpose of Position: Housing Ambassadors will be rotating to work in two different locations: the Residence Life Office and the Community Learning Center. In the Residence Life Office, duties include greeting customers in person and on the phone, checking voice mail at the front desk, mailing out publications, giving tours of our Residence Hall showrooms, managing conference room scheduling and publications, maintaining and driving the golf cart and departmental vehicle, filing and managing departmental mail, compiling documentation for reviews, and occasionally scanning documents.
In the Community Learning Center, duties include assisting students by answering questions, keeping supplies stocked, and monitoring the area to ensure a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment. A state‑issued Driver’s License is required, with a minimum of one year of driving history. This is a year‑round position.
