Student Employee-LSC-Operations Assistant

Department: LSC

The Operations Assistant is responsible for maintenance and small repairs to the LSC, and reports directly to the Assistant Director of Operations. This is a demanding, high-volume position with an emphasis on customer service, satisfaction, and positive relations. Tasks include:

• Building maintenance and repairs
• Recycling
• Building safety checks, and light cleaning duties.
• Delivering of packages from Loading Dock.
• Refreshing building lounge spaces (internal and external).
• Practicing exceptional customer service.
• Exhibiting stellar time management skills.
• Knowing who is who in the various LSC offices and the general responsibilities of each area.
• Having a comprehensive knowledge of offices within the LSC, meeting room and ballroom locations, and storage locations across the building.
• Monitoring of all meeting room equipment within the LSC.
• Capability of properly handling and using applicable tools and equipment; ensuring proper inventory control and able to lift weight up to 65lbs.
