Educational and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Master’s degree preferred. Two years relevant experience in research, report writing, communication, or project coordination is preferred. Experience in Higher Education or academic program support is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position

Performs professional administrative research and project coordination work in support of Program Analytics initiatives within Academic Affairs, including academic program research and report preparation, overseeing new program proposal requests, and monitoring for program and labor market alignment updates, in support of developing new educational programs and assisting with initiatives for existing educational programs.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversees research projects, report preparation, and needs analysis operations associated with new academic program proposals. Conducts research and analyzes data or information from internal and external sources to support program alignment with workforce and labor market trends to aid university leadership in making data-informed decisions about new program development and existing program planning. Serves as a resource to the needs analysis process of new program proposals, including managing request intake, report or summary preparation, and providing program analytic support alongside the proposal process.

Compiles, organizes, summarizes, and monitors data and related information to prepare reports, briefs, summaries, and other materials used to support decision‑making related to new program proposals. Assists with ongoing requests, program‑labor market alignment tracking, and related support initiatives associated with existing academic programs and Program Analytics operations. Serves as an initial point of contact for academic program requests and assists with coordinating communication, follow‑up, and support among campus stakeholders.

Assists with maintaining records, databases, webpages, and related resources or materials associated with Program Analytics initiatives or processes. Assists the Director with coordinating projects, tracking timelines, monitoring requests, and supporting the completion of reporting and program support activities. Provides administrative and organizational support to aid Program Analytics project management and assist with process coordination and continuous improvement efforts related to assessment and operational workflows.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications

Requires strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and professional writing skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment with demonstrated ability to establish congenial work relationships, collaborate among units, and communicate effectively with campus stakeholders. Experience with research, report writing, project coordination, academic program support, institutional reporting activities, or higher education administration is desirable, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, innovative thinking, and independent work ethic.

Ability to organize and summarize information, support operational and program-related requests, and communicate effectively are important.
