Student Employee-Academic Success Center-French Tutor - Fall 2026

Hours per week: 10-20

Hiring Rate: $10/hour

Nature & Purpose of Position: French Tutors in the Academic Success Center (ASC) will support students in advancing their competencies in the French language. Tutoring sessions offered will be conducted either face-to-face or online to support individual requests or small-groups. A typical day will include but is not limited to: assisting students with study strategies, content review/interpretation, mastery in understanding/ comprehension.

Required Qualifications:

• 3.0 overall GPA (on 4.0 scale)
• "B" or better in French coursework
• Possess the potential and ability to develop language skills to students/peers
• Patience
