Position Overview

Student Employee – Dept of Physics – Lab Assistant

• Present an introduction to the physics and techniques of the laboratory
• Observe student progress and offer assistance and encouragement as needed
• Keep records of student attendance
• Respond promptly and effectively to student emails
• Grade assignments and submit grades to instructors in a timely manner
• Attend weekly TA meetings
• Hold weekly tutoring hours

Applicants must have completed PHYS 1301/1101 and/or PHYS 1302/1102 with a grade of B or higher.
