This position is security‑sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code § 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.

Lecturer‑Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Course requirements may include a combination of teaching on‑campus classes in Huntsville, TX and the Woodlands Center, and online classes, depending on the needs of the academic department. Hiring is based upon student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis.

Master’s, Ph.D., or Ed.D. in Counselor Education from a CACREI institution is preferable.

Teaching experience is preferred.

Unofficial transcripts must contain the name of the issuing institution and the degree conferral date (if the candidate is not ABD). Three written references or letters of recommendation are required. Selected candidates will be asked for official transcripts for all degrees at the time of hire.
