The Department of History at Sam Houston State University invites applications for a pool faculty position. We are seeking applicants with the ability to teach both halves of the U.S. history survey, and/or both halves of the World History survey, only online. Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching a plus. Teaching load is based on the needs of the department and may range between one and two courses per semester.
Qualifications- Educational Requirements:
Ph.D. in History preferred; the MA in History is required prior to the start of the appointment in September 1st, 2026. - Experience
