This position requires Lecturer-Pool faculty to be available to teach one to four online courses per semester, based on departmental needs
. The primary teaching assignment will consist of graduate courses, which may include Advanced Interpersonal Communication
, Advanced Communication Theory
, and other graduate electives listed in the Graduate Catalog. Depending on departmental needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments may also include undergraduate communication courses.

Lecturer-Pool faculty appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon student enrollment and instructional demand.

Experience Required for the Position

Demonstrated successful college-level online teaching experience. Experience teaching graduate-level communication courses in an online environment is preferred.
