Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:This position requires Lecturer-Pool faculty to be available to teach one to four online courses per semester, based on departmental needs. The primary teaching assignment will consist of graduate courses, which may include Advanced Interpersonal Communication, Advanced Communication Theory, and other graduate electives listed in the Graduate Catalog. Depending on departmental needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments may also include undergraduate communication courses.
Lecturer-Pool faculty appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon student enrollment and instructional demand.
Ph.D. in Communication Studies.
Experience Required for the Position:Demonstrated successful college-level online teaching experience. Experience teaching graduate-level communication courses in an online environment is preferred.
