The Lecturer-Pool Faculty will teach graduate courses within the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, depending on an applicant’s academic background, experience, and licensure. Poolfaculty contracts are for one semester based on departmental needsbut may be renewed based on performance and need. Departmental needis driven by student enrollment and internal workloadcommitments.

The Lecturer-Pool Faculty will teach graduate courses within the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, depending on an applicant’s academic background, experience, and licensure. All candidates should possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member. Must have knowledge and the abilityto comply with accreditation standards related to evaluation and assessment. Physician Assistant with the following:

• Master’s degree from an ARC
  -PA accredited program.
• Current NCCPA certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Current license or eligibility for licensing as a physicianassistant in the State of Texas.

OR

Physician with the following:

• A Doctor of Medicine/Osteopathy with a full unrestricted MDlicense or eligibility to obtain such licensure in the State of Texas.

OR

Non-clinician Scientist or Health Professional with the following:

• Master’s degree or higher in a health or science related field.
