Position Title

Lecturer‑Pool Faculty of Criminal Justice and Criminology – Brownsville/McAllen Area (up to 3 positions to be filled)

Lecturer‑pool faculty are term positions hired to teach 1‑4 courses per semester. Hiring is based on student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. The instructor is responsible for teaching a wide range of courses to support the college’s off‑campus course offerings in the Brownsville, McAllen, and surrounding area.

JD or Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field.

Relevant teaching and/or practical experience.

Part‑Time, Non‑Tenure Track, Exempt under FLSA.
