Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
This position requires Lecturer-Pool faculty to be available to teach one to four online courses per semester, based on departmental needs
. Teaching assignments may include both undergraduate and graduate courses. Possible undergraduate courses include Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, Conflict and Negotiation, Family Communication, and other undergraduate communication courses consistent with the candidate’s qualifications and departmental needs. Possible graduate courses include Advanced Interpersonal Communication, Advanced Communication Theory, and other graduate electives listed in the Graduate Catalog. Specific teaching assignments will be determined based on departmental needs and the candidate’s academic preparation, areas of expertise, and teaching experience.
Lecturer-Pool faculty appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon student enrollment and instructional demand.

Experience Required for the Position
Demonstrated successful college-level online teaching experience. Experience teaching graduate-level communication courses in an online environment is preferred.
