Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Type: Contract (40 hours total estimated)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support enterprise-level network systems. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in configuring, programming, and troubleshooting a variety of network equipment including routers, switches, DSLAMs, and nano beam devices. This position will also include monitoring network circuits for anomalies and providing support for various internal programs.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, DSLAMs, nano beams).
• Monitor circuits daily for performance and potential outages.
• Provide technical support for enterprise applications that rely on network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• May be required to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed (with prior approval).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level networks and telecommunications systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a hybrid work setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
