Fiber Optics Network Techinician

Work will include traveling across different work sites within the State of Texas. Traveling with TCDJ team, travels costs or hotel stays will be reimbursed. Office Headquarters: 815 11th Street, Huntsville, Texas 77320

We are currently seeking an contract Fiber Optic Network Technician to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).

Candidates should have knowledge of design video, data, and voice communication systems. They may oversee the installation and maintenance of these systems, including their repair and testing. Performs complex network work and works under general supervision with moderate latitude. Proficient in conduit bending and installation. Must be able to understand fiber optic networking and fiber optic components.

• Knowledge of data/voice termination of 568B and have own telecommunications termination / testing tools.
