Assist in planning and performing audit procedures in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
Perform audit testing, including walkthroughs, internal control evaluations, and substantive procedures.
Prepare and maintain detailed audit work papers that meet firm and professional standards.
Analyze financial data to identify risks, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
Assist in drafting audit reports, management letters, and financial statements.
Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve audit-related issues.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a high-performing audit environment.
Stay current on accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry developments.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, or a related field. A master's degree in public accounting is a plus.
CPA certification or progress toward obtaining a CPA is highly desirable.
1 to 3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on audit services.
Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Familiarity with accounting software is required, and experience with Engagement Manager (formally known as Advanced Flow) is preferred.
Technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodologies. Knowledge in governmental audits is a plus.
Adaptability and a commitment to flexibility in a constantly changing professional environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide precise and impactful feedback to clients and team members.
