General Position SummaryProvide a welcoming environment for members coming into the office. Take phone calls and assist members with excellent service by answering questions or by directing calls to the appropriate department. Support lending staff in a variety of ways as needed. Applicant must possess good judgment and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities- Answer and direct phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer member questions or direct members to the appropriate staff.
- Mail out notices for various departments in the Credit Union.
- Check lending voicemails and respond to or redirect messages appropriately.
- Scan documents for the Lending Departments.
- Secure the file room.
- Maintain the Loan Department reception area by keeping adequate supplies for copier and related equipment readily available.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills: Applicant must possess good judgment and have excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Computer and phone skills are required for the position. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license in the event that their services are needed at another branch location. Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Applicant must be bondable and pass a background check.
Physical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to occasionally lift/transport up to 10 pounds at a time. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Environment is primarily indoor.
